We are actively looking for a friendly, well-spoken Sales Development Representative to assist our company in expanding our customer base. The Sales Development Representative's responsibilities include generating potential leads, soliciting potential customers, facilitating sales, and connecting customers.
To be a successful Sales Development Representative, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Promote and market the business through extensive and persistent cold calling, emails, and communication(s) to prospective clients.
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for B2B SaaS applications
- Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries.
- Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts.
- Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle.
- Schedule appointments and demos for the company's products & solutions.
- Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email.
- Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and other social mediums.
- Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
- Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence
- Effectively partner and work across the marketing teams
- Act as the subject matter expert on the product offerings/solution development skills.
- Researching and evaluating leads/prospects through in-depth web research.
- 2+ years of proven excellence in business development, inside sales and/or sales, preferably in B2B SaaS based solutions for US market.
- Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product selling points via phone and email.
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejections and rebuttals.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener.
- Working knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day.
- Capability of understanding customer pain points, requirements, and correlating potential business to the value that can be provided by the product/solution offered.
- Must live and breathe start-ups with broad responsibilities, crazy busy, dynamic environment, lots of responsibility, and lots of fun.
