The Food and Beverage (F&B) Controller is responsible for managing and controlling the financial aspects of the food and beverage operations within a hospitality establishment.
This role focuses on cost control, inventory management, procurement, and financial analysis to ensure the profitability of the F&B department. The F&B Controller collaborates closely with the culinary and service teams to optimize costs, enhance revenue, and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze the cost of food, beverages, and other related supplies.
- Establish and maintain cost-effective purchasing procedures.
- Implement measures to minimize waste and reduce operating costs.
- Oversee the inventory management process, including ordering, receiving, and storage of F&B items.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to analyze menu items' profitability and suggest adjustments.
