Candidate Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline; Hotel Management/Hospitality qualification will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hotel, preferably in Front Office/Reception.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer-service and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and hotel management software.
- Good telephone etiquette and professional communication.
- Well-groomed, presentable, polite, and guest-focused.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
- Candidates residing nearby the hotel location will be preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to join at short notice, if required
- Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests warmly and provide professional assistance throughout their stay.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, modifications, and walk-in bookings.
- Verify guest details, identification, room availability, and payment information.
- Allocate rooms according to reservations and guest requirements.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, room types, tariffs, and nearby attractions.
- Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints in a polite and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Security, and other departments for smooth guest service.
- Handle telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Assist with billing, payments, invoices, and other front-office transactions.
- Maintain accurate guest records, registers, reports, and shift handover details.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room status and room readiness.
- Assist guests with transportation, wake-up calls, luggage, and other basic guest services.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and follow hotel policies and safety procedures.
- Handle difficult situations professionally and escalate major complaints to the Front Office Manager.
- Promote hotel facilities, room upgrades, and other hotel services when appropriate.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of the reception/front-office area.
- Maintain professional grooming, communication, and customer-service standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or Hotel Management.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
