Job Title: General Manager/ Purchase Head – Purchase

ERP Knowledge: SAP (MM module preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee group-level procurement strategy and operations across all units.
Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Drive strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.
Ensure efficient implementation and use of SAP for procurement processes.
Standardize procurement processes and policies across group companies.
Handling purchasing team, spread with different units/ products
Collaborate closely with production, planning, stores, finance, and project teams.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, and internal control requirements.
Develop and mentor purchase teams across locations.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing industries.
Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial preferred).
Strong knowledge of SAP (especially MM module) and procurement best practices.
Experience in managing multi-unit procurement operations.
Experience in importing products
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
Track record of cost savings, vendor development, and process improvement.
