Job Summary
The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, sales performance, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team management of multiple QSR outlets within an assigned territory. The role ensures adherence to company standards, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Supervise daily operations of all assigned outlets.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular store audits and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory management and minimize wastage.
2. Sales & Business Growth
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Plan and execute local store marketing activities.
- Monitor competition and market trends.
3. Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop Restaurant Managers and outlet staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching.
- Ensure proper manpower planning and staff scheduling.
- Foster a positive and high-performance work culture.
4. Financial Management
- Monitor P&L performance of assigned stores.
- Control labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Improve profitability through cost optimization initiatives.
5. Customer Experience
- Ensure excellent customer service across all outlets.
- Handle escalated customer complaints effectively.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Maintain brand standards and customer satisfaction scores.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain food safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
- Ensure workplace safety and security procedures are followed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in QSR, retail, or food service operations.
- Minimum 2–3 years of multi-unit management experience.
- Experience handling 5–15 outlets preferred.
