Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Field Sales Executive for a fast-growing FMCG Food company. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in General Trade (GT) and/or Modern Trade (MT) sales, with a strong network of retail stores across Mumbai. This role involves field visits, retail onboarding, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business objectives.
- Generate new business opportunities and onboard retail outlets across Mumbai.
- Develop and maintain relationships with General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), supermarkets, retail chains, and distributors.
- Conduct regular market visits to expand the company's retail presence.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
- Follow up on payments and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Conduct product sampling and promotional activities whenever required.
- Maintain daily sales reports, customer records, and lead trackers using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Gather customer feedback and share market insights with the management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in the FMCG Food industry.
- Experience in General Trade (GT) and/or Modern Trade (MT) sales is mandatory.
- Existing network of retailers, supermarkets, distributors, or retail chains in Mumbai will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with extensive field travel across Mumbai.
