Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Chef specializing in Momos, Laphing, Sandwiches, Noodles, Fried Rice, and Indo-Chinese cuisine. The candidate should be able to independently manage food preparation, maintain taste consistency, ensure hygiene standards, and handle kitchen operations during busy service hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of momos (steamed, fried, tandoori, gravy momos).
- Prepare authentic Tibetan-style laphing, sauces, chutneys, and fillings.
- Make veg and non-veg sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, and fast-food items.
- Prepare Chinese dishes such as Hakka noodles, Schezwan noodles, fried rice, Manchurian, chilli paneer, and soups.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Prepare daily mise en place and maintain stock of ingredients.
- Monitor freshness of vegetables, meats, sauces, and other raw materials.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Minimize food wastage and manage inventory efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen helpers and service staff during rush hours.
- Develop new recipes and menu items as required by management.
Required Skills
- Expert knowledge of momo dough, fillings, folding techniques, and steaming.
- Hands-on experience in laphing preparation and Tibetan/Chinese sauces.
- Strong knowledge of sandwich making and fast-food preparation.
- Experience in wok cooking, Chinese gravies, noodles, and fried rice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
- Teamwork, discipline, and time-management skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10th Pass (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience as a Chinese Chef or Momo Chef.
- Experience in QSR, café, cloud kitchen, or restaurant preferred.
- Food safety certification will be an advantage.
Salary
- ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and skills).
Preferred Candidate
- Strong expertise in Momos, Laphing, and Sandwiches.
- Able to independently handle kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of Nepali/Tibetan-style momo and laphing preparation is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,340.28 - ₹20,000.00 per month
