About the role
Tech Savvys is hiring field-based CCTV Technicians and CCTV Installation Interns to join the installation and service team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on hands-on CCTV cabling, camera mounting and adjustment, DVR/NVR configuration, basic networking, troubleshooting, and customer-site service. Candidates must be comfortable with field work, basic electrical tasks, and customer-facing duties.
What you’ll do
- Perform CCTV cabling, route and terminate cables, and ensure tidy, safe installations.
- Mount, align, and adjust cameras to ensure correct coverage and image quality.
- Install and configure DVRs, NVRs, and IP cameras; set up remote/mobile viewing.
- Perform basic network configuration (IP addressing, gateway, router/Switch checks) required for system connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with cameras, power, wiring, storage, and network connectivity.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, camera angle corrections, and image clarity checks.
- Travel to customer sites across Bengaluru; maintain professional on-site conduct.

Internship details
- Duration: 6 months.
- Training: Hands-on supervised training in CCTV installation, cabling, DVR/NVR setup, networking, and field service.
- Stipend/salary: Determined based on skill level, performance in selection, and progress during training; will be discussed at offer stage.
- Evaluation: Periodic performance reviews; high-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles.
Education & certifications
- Minimum: 10+2 / ITI / Diploma or equivalent vocational training preferred.
- Relevant certifications (electrical safety, basic networking, CCTV equipment) are a plus.
Work conditions & physical requirements
- Regular field visits to customer locations; work on ladders, rooftops, and confined spaces as needed.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment (cameras, mounts, cabling reels).
- Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
