SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER & INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Social Media Manager who is part strategist, part operator, and part relationship builder. You'll own PEP Nails' presence across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X building community, driving engagement, and scaling our influencer partnerships. You'll also be the bridge between our product/founders and our paid performance campaigns, ensuring we have a constant stream of high-converting creative for Meta ads.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY & EXECUTION
- Develop and execute social media strategy across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X aligned with growth goals
- Manage content calendar and posting across all platforms
- Create/curate content that drives engagement, community building, and brand awareness
- Monitor trends and adapt content strategy to stay relevant
- Respond to comments, DMs, and community engagement build genuine relationships with followers
- Track analytics and optimize for reach, engagement, and conversions
INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS & COLLABORATIONS
- Identify, vet, and build relationships with nano, micro, and macro influencers in beauty/fashion/lifestyle
- Negotiate collaboration terms, manage contracts, and track deliverables
- Brief influencers on brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and content requirements
- Track influencer campaign performance and ROI
- Own influencer relationship management end-to-end
- Build affiliate/ambassador programs if applicable
META ADS & PERFORMANCE MARKETING SUPPORT
- Coordinate with founders and internal teams to source/create content for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads
- Brief copywriter/designer on high-performing creative angles
- Ensure a constant pipeline of fresh UGC, testimonial, and product-focused content for paid campaigns
- Participate in paid performance reviews; provide insights on what's working organically vs. paid
- Help optimize ad creative based on performance data
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2 years experience managing social media for D2C brands (beauty/fashion/lifestyle preferred)
- Proven track record growing Instagram followers and engagement (50K+ community preferred)
- Hands-on experience with influencer outreach, negotiation, and partnership management
- Strong understanding of Meta ads, content for performance marketing, and conversion funnel
- Comfort with analytics you track KPIs, not vanity metrics
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable engaging with influencers, founders, and cross-functional teams
- Content creation ability (or strong creative direction skills)
- Fast execution; ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Familiarity with tools: Instagram/YouTube/LinkedIn/X, Meta Ads Manager, Asana/Monday, Google Analytics
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience with short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Familiarity with press-on nails, beauty, or personal care category
- Experience working directly with founders in high-growth startups
- Knowledge of quick-commerce platforms (Blinkit, etc.)
