Long Text Job Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities) · Leading and Managing Server and Technical Applications which comprise hardware, operating system and Geotechnical applications. · Major role and responsibility involve providing solutions, implementation, configuration & troubleshooting of various E&P based Applications, OS administration like Redhat Linux, NAS/SAN Storages (EMC UNITY/ISILON). · Linux Server Administration includes IDM, DNS, Samba and DHCP environment management. · Install, manage and configure Geotechnical and other software’s relevant in E&P Business. · Manage escalations related to End user applications, co-ordinate with vendors for new release of End user applications across E&P · Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware and software · Ensure Compliance with Information security policies, standards, procedures & guidelines. Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) · Deployment, configurations and Administration of Linux/Ubuntu Servers · Knowledge of Handling applications on Unix. · Knowledge of EMC storage systems · Knowledge of Commvault Backup administration · Geotechnical applications & End user management will be an added advantage. Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications) · Bachelor’s degree in computers/Electronics/IT · 4-7 years of relevant cumulative experience in End user service management, Server Infrastructure Management & Geotechnical application management · Hands on knowledge in E&P Oil & Gas domain which includes Upstream and Downstream business & operations. · Sound knowledge of Linux Server OS.
