Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines used in the manufacturing of precision components. The successful candidate will ensure that production meets quality standards, follows engineering specifications, and complies with all safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Load raw materials and tools into CNC machines.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, and gauges.
- Replace worn tools and perform routine tool offset adjustments.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety policies, and housekeeping practices.
- Work closely with supervisors, quality inspectors, and maintenance personnel to achieve production targets.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical.
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines (preferred).
- Freshers with relevant technical training may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CNC machine operation and setup.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Basic understanding of G-code and M-code is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Standing for extended periods and handling machine components.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹33,862.26 per month
