Summary:
As a Business Architect, a typical day involves identifying opportunities that can bring measurable business value by thoroughly evaluating the existing environment and gathering high-level requirements. The role includes defining effective business solutions and translating organizational needs into technology-driven strategies and operational frameworks. Throughout the day, the Business Architect supports transformation efforts by preparing detailed business cases and providing guidance during the implementation of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the AVEVA PI System landscape and related applications.
- Lead design, deployment, upgrades, migrations, and administration of PI infrastructure.
- Manage PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, PI Connectors, and PI Manual Logger environments.
- Responsible for team decisions and engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of business and technology strategies.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Ability to manage and support integrated applications within the broader Managed Services landscape, ensuring seamless business operations and service continuity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must to Have Skills: Proficiency in Aveva OSIsoft PI.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial environments across Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Energy sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience in translating complex business requirements into clear technology solutions.
- Ability to develop comprehensive business cases and support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Capability to guide and influence teams through transformational initiatives.
- Experience supporting global managed services environments, ensuring service reliability, availability, compliance, incident management, problem management, and change management aligned with ITIL practices.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Aveva OSIsoft PI.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
