Position Summary
The Business Development Coordinator will support the Business Development function by managing lead generation, client follow-ups, proposal coordination, meeting scheduling, and end-to-end administrative support for business opportunities. The role will act as a coordination bridge between clients, the Business Development team, Directors, and internal functions to ensure timely communication, accurate documentation, and smooth execution of business development activities.
Role Objective: To strengthen business development execution through disciplined lead tracking, professional client coordination, timely proposal and commercial support, and effective relationship management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Pipeline Support
Identify, capture, and maintain potential business leads through market research, referrals, client enquiries, industry platforms, and BD inputs.
Maintain a structured lead pipeline with status updates, next actions, priority levels, and ownership details.
Track progress of opportunities from initial enquiry to proposal submission, negotiation, work order, and closure.
Proposal Sharing & Follow-up Coordination
Coordinate preparation, collation, and sharing of proposals, credentials, presentations, commercials, and supporting documents with prospective clients.
Follow up with clients for proposal feedback, meeting confirmations, clarifications, commercial discussions, and next steps.
Ensure all communication is timely, professional, documented, and aligned with inputs from the BD Head, BD team, and Directors.
Meeting Scheduling & Internal Coordination
Schedule and coordinate client meetings, internal BD reviews, Director-level discussions, and follow-up calls as required.
Prepare meeting agendas, coordinate availability, circulate required documents, and track action points after discussions.
Coordinate closely with the BD team and Directors to ensure readiness for client discussions and timely response to opportunities.
Client Coordination & Relationship Building
Act as a professional point of coordination for clients for routine follow-ups, documentation, meeting logistics, and information requirements.
Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients through structured communication and responsive coordination.
Support client engagement by maintaining a record of interactions, preferences, requirements, and pending actions.
Database Management & MIS Reporting
Maintain and update the business development database including leads, client contacts, proposals shared, follow-up status, meeting records, agreements, work orders, and billing status.
Prepare periodic BD MIS reports, dashboards, pipeline summaries, and status trackers for review by the BD Head and leadership.
Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely updating of client and opportunity records.
Commercial, Billing & Documentation Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams for billing inputs, commercial documentation, client confirmations, and invoice-related follow-ups.
Support coordination for agreements, work orders, purchase orders, commercial approvals, contract documentation, and related records.
Track documentation closure and ensure all relevant commercial and client documents are filed, updated, and accessible for reference.
Education
Graduate / MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience
1-5 years of relevant experience in business development coordination, sales support, client coordination, or proposal management.
Industry Exposure
Basic understanding of architecture, design, real estate, construction, consulting, or related professional services will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database / CRM-style tracking formats.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
