Academic Responsibilities
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and practical classes.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and presentations.
- Conduct clinical teaching and demonstrations.
- Guide students during clinical postings.
- Maintain attendance and academic records.
- Conduct internal assessments, examinations and practical evaluations.
- Participate in question-paper setting and evaluation as assigned.
- Provide academic mentoring and counselling to students.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support.
- Participate in curriculum planning and revision.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Participate in Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment of patients.
- Supervise students during clinical training.
- Develop appropriate Occupational Therapy intervention plans.
- Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses and other rehabilitation professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and professional ethics during clinical activities.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic interventions and home programmes.
- Promote evidence-based Occupational Therapy practice.
Research Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental and institutional research activities.
- Guide students in research projects, where applicable.
- Conduct literature reviews and contribute to research publications.
- Participate in seminars, conferences and workshops.
- Encourage evidence-based clinical practice.
- Maintain appropriate research documentation and ethical standards.
Student Development
- Mentor and guide students in academic and clinical matters.
- Monitor student performance and professional behaviour.
- Promote communication, teamwork and professional ethics.
- Encourage participation in seminars, conferences and academic activities.
- Provide constructive feedback on student performance.
Quality & Accreditation Responsibilities
- Comply with institutional policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Follow patient safety and infection prevention and control practices.
- Maintain required academic and clinical records.
- Participate in internal audits and accreditation-related activities as assigned.
- Attend mandatory institutional training programmes.
- Contribute to departmental quality indicators and improvement initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in departmental meetings.
- Assist the HOD in academic and administrative activities.
- Maintain teaching schedules and assigned academic records.
- Participate in examination and admission-related activities as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory, equipment and teaching resources.
- Perform other duties assigned by the HOD/Dean/Principal within the scope of the position.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 per month
