We are looking for a detail-oriented Lab Chemist or Testing Engineer to join our oil testing laboratory. You will be responsible for conducting physical, chemical, and electrical tests on transformer oils to ensure they meet required safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine testing of transformer oil samples including Break Down Voltage (BDV), moisture content, acidity, Flash Point, and Viscosity.
- Conduct advanced diagnostic tests such as Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and Dielectric Dissipation Factor (Tan Delta).
- Analyze and interpret test data as per IS, IEC, and ASTM standards to determine oil suitability.
- Maintain accurate documentation, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with quality systems.
Required Education & Experience:
- Qualification: B.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Sc. in Physics, or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience in a dedicated transformer oil testing laboratory.
- OR minimum 3 years of experience if coming from related electrical testing fields, such as CT/PT testing (Current Transformer/Potential Transformer testing).
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of standard test procedures (IS 1866, IEC 60422).
- Basic computer skills for reporting and data management.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
