Position Title: Housekeeping Staff (Full time)
Department: Administration / Facilities Management
Job Purpose: To maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment across the campus, including classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, libraries, laboratories, and common areas, ensuring a pleasant learning and working environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize classrooms, staff rooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, staircases, and common areas daily.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures.
- Ensure washrooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and hygienically maintained.
- Collect and dispose of waste as per the organization's waste management procedures.
- Assist in setting up classrooms, meeting rooms, seminar halls, and event venues when required.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Administration Department.
- Monitor and replenish housekeeping and cleaning supplies.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support cleanliness during examinations, admissions, events, and other institutional activities.
- Ensure campus premises remain clean and presentable throughout working hours.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good time management and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 8th/10th Pass preferred.
- Prior housekeeping experience in schools, colleges, coaching institutes, or offices is desirable.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety practices will be an added advantage.
