Key Responsibilities1. SAP & System Management
- Maintain and update material master data in the SAP system.
- Perform daily inventory monitoring and system validation.
- Ensure accurate system records for stock availability and material movements.
- Generate system-based reports to support planning and procurement activities.
2. Bill of Materials (BOM) Management
- Execute and validate Engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP.
- Compare project BOM requirements with available inventory.
- Identify material shortages and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure BOM accuracy before production release.
3. Purchase Requisition (PR) Management
- Generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for material shortages identified through planning.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely procurement.
- Track PR status and ensure on-time material availability.
4. Production Planning
- Review Sales Orders and engineering drawings to determine material requirements.
- Prepare production material plans based on project schedules.
- Update planning requirements whenever engineering changes are issued.
- Ensure materials are allocated correctly to ongoing projects.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with Sales, Design, Purchase, Stores, and Production departments.
- Verify engineering material lists against SAP inventory.
- Resolve planning discrepancies before production commencement.
- Support smooth communication between all stakeholders.
6. Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor inventory levels for production and project requirements.
- Maintain optimum stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Establish and review minimum stock levels for critical materials.
- Prevent production stoppages due to stock shortages.
7. Long Lead & Special Material Tracking
- Monitor procurement of imported, customized, and long lead-time materials.
- Follow up with the Purchase Department regarding supplier delivery commitments.
- Maintain status reports for critical materials and expected delivery dates.
- Ensure timely availability of special materials for project execution.
8. Material Shortage Resolution
- Respond immediately to urgent material shortages affecting production.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Stores for emergency purchases.
- Identify alternative material solutions where applicable.
- Support uninterrupted production through proactive planning.
9. Dead Stock Reduction
- Identify slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to utilize existing stock wherever possible.
- Recommend inventory optimization measures to reduce carrying costs.
10. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports.
- Maintain planning records, inventory reports, and material tracking documents.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit and management review purposes.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
