Role description
Role Responsibilities:
- Service Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end application delivery across various platforms (Java J2EE, Microsoft, SAP, etc.).
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all application managed services are compliant with organizational policies, data privacy regulations, and security standards.
- Automation: Build and configure automation tools to optimize application monitoring, deployment, and support processes.
- Solutioning & Architecture: Solution application related RFPs and Bids from an end-to-end perspective and create enterprise architecture solutions.
Skills & Experience:
- Act as the SME for application development, solutioning, maintenance, and optimization, providing direction and guidance to development and support teams.
- Expertise in DevOps practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible). Experience in managing large-scale enterprise systems
- Proven experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Strong orientation in Enterprise Architecture.
- Certifications in Java, Microsoft technologies, TOGAF are highly desirable.
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA or similar for monitoring, delivery and service management.
- Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP and other ERP platforms would be preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in managing application services for enterprise systems with strong expertise in Java J2EE, Microsoft (e.g., .NET), and SAP platforms.
- Proven experience with application lifecycle management, from development to deployment and post-production support.
- Hands-on experience with incident, problem, release and change management processes.

- 15 years of Delivery & Implementation in all ITIL processes
- Knowledge and Experience of IT enablement Tools across a mix of OEMs.
- Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and implementation from an automation perspective.
- Capability of building metrics and dashboards for operational excellence and management reporting.
- Skills that contribute towards building an optimal, error free delivery environment that is ready to scale.
- Designing ITIL process-based delivery.
- Ability to build and manage teams from an Automation and ITIL governance perspective.
- Excellent customer engagement and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Multi-Vendor exposure and excellent vendor management skills.
- Ability to build performance management metrices.
- Ability to perform detailed RCAs of incidents and drive high severity calls with multiple stakeholders.
- Industry Certification: ITIL v4 Foundation is required. Further levels would help add more credibility.
- Experience of supporting Indian domestic customers preferred.
