Cylindrical Grinding & Surface Grinding Operator
Job Summary
The Cylindrical Grinding & Surface Grinding Operator is responsible for setting up and operating cylindrical and surface grinding machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate cylindrical grinding and surface grinding machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Select and mount grinding wheels, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Measure finished components using precision instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
- Ensure components meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Perform machine adjustments to achieve accurate grinding results.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and report any defects.
- Maintain grinding machines and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Machinist, Turner, or a related mechanical trade.
- 2–5 years of experience in cylindrical and surface grinding operations (preferred).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
