Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced TIS Developer with strong expertise in Java, Apache Camel, Kafka (Confluent), Spring Boot, and the Temenos Framework. The role requires a hands-on developer with experience in building scalable integration solutions, event-driven architectures, APIs, and containerized microservices while working in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable integration solutions using Apache Camel, Spring Boot, and Java.

Design, develop, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Develop and maintain event-driven applications using Kafka (Confluent) and Apache Camel.
-
Build and manage REST APIs using OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger UI.
-
Develop integration services using the Temenos Framework, including APIs, Events, Outbox, Interfaces, and JBC programming.

Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
-
Design and manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm, YAML, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
-
Integrate SQL and NoSQL databases with enterprise applications.
-
Implement Kafka producers, consumers, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry for event-driven messaging.
-
Perform Kafka integration testing using Embedded Kafka.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality integration solutions.

Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance while ensuring adherence to development standards and security best practices.
Required Skills:
-
7–12 years of experience in Java-based application development and integration.

Strong expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, including containerization concepts and Kubernetes operations.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), YAML, and Helm.

Experience integrating SQL and NoSQL databases.

Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Integration.

Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
-
Strong knowledge of Apache Camel for implementing enterprise integration patterns and routing between systems.

Experience integrating Apache Camel with Kafka (Confluent).

Experience testing Kafka producers and consumers using Embedded Kafka.

Strong Java development skills, including Java concurrency for parallel Kafka message processing.

Expertise in JSON, Avro, Protobuf, and Thrift serialization formats.

Experience with Confluent Schema Registry, Kafka Streams, ksqlDB, and Kafka messaging architecture.

Knowledge of Kafka security (SSL/TLS, SASL, ACLs) and performance tuning.

Experience designing REST APIs using OpenAPI 3.x and Swagger UI.

Hands-on experience with the Temenos Framework, including APIs, Events, Outbox, Interfaces, and JBC Programming.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
