Overview:
The Electrical Engineer supports the design and execution of electrical engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers and managers. The role involves applying engineering fundamentals, preparing high-quality design deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and helping ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The engineer will also demonstrate leadership by providing technical guidance, mentoring junior engineers and designers, reviewing their work, and supporting their professional development.
The engineer will contribute to U.S.-based tool installation projects across industries such as automotive manufacturing, battery manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, and related industrial environments.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of electrical engineering assignments as listed below with increasing levels of responsibility based on demonstrated performance and technical proficiency.

Design & Calculations: Prepare load lists, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and power layouts. Perform equipment sizing, conductor sizing, voltage drop, SCC and conduit/tray fill calculations, earthing & bonding, lighting calculations using NEC/NFPA 70 standards and local requirements.

Power System Studies: Support modeling and analysis in SKM / Easypower (Load Flow, Short Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash).

Drafting & Coordination: Prepare 2D/3D deliverables in Revit. Coordinate with Mechanical, Structural, and Architectural disciplines to resolve clashes.

Documentation: Assist with technical specifications and responding to RFIs.

The Electrical Tool Installation Engineer will develop comprehensive electrical design packages for semiconductor tool installations, including schematics, facility data, routing plans, elevations, and installation details. The role requires superior technical expertise, effective multidisciplinary coordination, and strict compliance with applicable codes, client standards, and quality requirements. The Electrical Tool Installation Engineer will perform following tasks.

Develop electrical tool installation packages, including schematics, facility data, Fab/Subfab routing plans, elevations, and custom installation details.

Design normal, emergency, UPS, primary, secondary, and low-voltage power distribution systems with an emphasis on reliability and redundancy.

Size circuits, conductors, conduits, cable trays, wireways, grounding conductors, and excess cable storage boxes.

Perform electrical calculations, including panel loading, ampacity, voltage drop, short-circuit current, breaker AIC, overcurrent protection, cable tray fill, raceway fill, grounding, bonding, and conductor bending requirements.

Evaluate equipment terminal provisions, cable insulation ratings, circuit classifications, NEC separation requirements, electrical clearances, and short-circuit current ratings.

Perform arc-flash evaluations and develop design solutions to reduce AF PPE levels where required.

Coordinate design requirements with engineers, local designers, suppliers, and Architectural, Mechanical, and Structural disciplines.

Review calculations and drawings, respond to RFIs, incorporate field changes, and prepare record drawings.

Maintain quality by complying with project, team, design, and CAD standards.

Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development support to local designers.

Travel as required for initial training and project coordination.
Work timings– Morning 08.00am to 12noon IST and evening 08.00pm to 12:00am IST.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.-
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and design principles.

Proficiency in engineering design and drafting software, including CAD platforms.

Ability to prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, learning and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard engineering software tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial, semiconductor, automotive, manufacturing, or commercial building projects.-
Familiarity with Revit, BIM workflows, and related engineering software.

Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices.
