Key Responsibilities
CNC Machine Setup
- Set up CNC turning, milling, drilling, or machining center machines according to production requirements.
- Install and align fixtures, tools, jigs, and workpieces.
- Load and verify CNC programs before production runs.
- Perform tool offset and work offset adjustments.
Machine Operation
- Operate CNC machines efficiently to manufacture components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Monitor machine performance during production.
- Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments to achieve dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure optimum machine utilization and productivity.
Quality Control
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier calipers
- Micrometers
- Bore gauges
- Height gauges
- Dial indicators
- Verify dimensions and tolerances according to drawings.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Identify and report non-conforming products.
Tooling and Maintenance
- Replace worn or damaged cutting tools.
- Maintain tool inventory and tooling records.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine malfunctions to the maintenance department.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
- Comply with quality management and manufacturing standards.
Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
