Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Maintain complete books of accounts for UAE entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all accounting transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal audits.
Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain records required for VAT and Corporate Tax compliance.
- Assist in Corporate Tax computations and statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable UAE financial regulations.
Tally Accounting
Maintain and supervise accounting entries relating to:
- Purchase transactions (SPO and SPI)
- Sales transactions
- Bank receipts and payments
- Inter-account transfers
- Petty cash transactions
- Employee reimbursement and petty cash settlements
- Payroll and salary accounting
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations
- General ledger scrutiny and reconciliation
- Data preparation for VAT and Corporate Tax filings
Financial Controls & Reporting
- Monitor and control operating expenses with emphasis on reducing cash transactions.
- Develop and maintain a standardized Chart of Accounts aligned with group reporting requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports for management.
- Identify process improvements and strengthen internal financial controls.
Team Coordination
- Guide and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Review accounting entries prepared by team member.
- Ensure timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with exposure to UAE accounting and taxation.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in trading, marine, engineering, or export/import businesses.
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes.
- Experience in implementing accounting systems and process improvements.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
