· Source and evaluate packaging materials and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and coordinate with procurement teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
· Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that packaging materials and finished products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits of packaging processes to identify and address any quality issues or compliance concerns.
· Plan and coordinate packaging production schedules to meet production targets and customer demands.
· Optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
· Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
· Communicate project status updates and report on key metrics to senior management.
· Evaluate the environmental impact of packaging materials and processes and identify opportunities for sustainability improvements.
· Develop and implement initiatives to reduce packaging waste, increase recyclability, and promote sustainable packaging practices.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in packaging operations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to safety protocols.
· Implement safety training programs for packaging personnel and enforce safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation related to packaging specifications, materials, production processes, and quality control activities.
