You will support the senior project managers by preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), calculating material take-offs, and running baseline cost analyses. You will act as the bridge between engineering design and project budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Quantity Take-Offs: Accurately extract material quantities (concrete, steel, brickwork, plastering, tiles) from architectural and structural blueprints.
- BOQ Preparation: Assist in preparing and formatting detailed Bills of Quantities in compliance with industry standards.
- Rate Analysis: Help calculate the unit costs of construction activities by evaluating material, labor, and equipment expenses.
- Tender & Bid Support: Collate vendor and subcontractor quotations to support the preparation of competitive technical and commercial bids.
- Cost Reporting: Maintain organized spreadsheets and databases for project costs, material wastage, and ongoing price revisions.
- Site Coordination: Cross-reference estimated quantities with actual site consumption and assist in tracking project measurement books (MB).
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of professional or internship experience in construction estimation and cost analysis
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
