Barista Job DescriptionPosition Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, attentive to detail, and able to thrive in a fast-paced café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Replenish supplies, ingredients, and inventory as needed.
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally.
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista, Cashier, or in a customer service role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Barista training or coffee certification.
- Experience operating espresso machines and grinders.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee, latte art, and brewing techniques.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
