We are looking for a Manager III, Program Management to join the Brand Protection Business Operations (BPBO) team as a Program Manager in IPP (Intellectual Property Protections). IPP defends the integrity of the Amazon catalog at scale — protecting brands, customers, and the store from infringing and counterfeit content and operates across 21 WW stores in partnership with 20+ cross-functional teams spanning Tech, Science, Legal, Product, WFM, and Seller Remediation. We are looking for candidates with a record of owning and executing strategic, cross-functional projects as well as partnering with product/engineering teams to drive key process improvement projects. You sit at the intersection of human review operations, ML model influence, and tooling development, driving both near-term operational outcomes and multi-year strategy for scalable infringement detection.
Key job responsibilities
Program Ownership & Operational Leadership:
- Own end-to-end program management including daily operations, quality metrics, capacity planning, and investigator performance
- Drive FP reduction and contact rate reduction targets, partnering with internal teams to eliminate incorrect enforcements at root cause
- Lead new marketplace expansion for IPP
ML Model Partnership & HITL Strategy
- Define and execute the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) feedback strategy for ML models — translating investigator audit signals into model improvement inputs
- Partner with Science and Engineering to scale IPP protections through upstream gating, listing controls
- Gen-AI and automation projects to improve efficiency and scalability
Strategy & Metrics
- Define program metrics ; set goals and design long-term strategy for novel infringement vectors
- Identify synergies across IPP sub-programs, eliminate redundancy, and build toward a scalable operating model
Stakeholder Influence & Communication
- Operate as a peer to counterparts in Product, Engineering, Science, and Legal
- Present decisions and narratives to leaders up to L10; own MBR, QBR, OP1/OP2, and PR/FAQ contributions
People & Team Development
- Hire and develop program managers
- Lead talent reviews, engagement mechanisms, and budget management
- Partner with Ops Integration for capacity planning, backfills, and contract conversions
