Job Summary:
The IT Quality Assurance Analyst will work on various projects from the Intake/Bug handling stage to product release stage.
Core Responsibilities

Create test plans and Test cases

Design and execute systems to perform exploratory testing

Perform and document risk analysis

Record test progress and results
-
Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness

Discover bugs within software
-
Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
-
Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
-
Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
-
Perform manual testing
-
Research and analyze product features being tested
-
Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
-
Required to comprehend and if needed build documentation for Acceptance Criteria for defined requirements

As is and future state definitions of processes
-
Use cases and sequence diagrams
-
Scope matrix (when needed)

User guides and manuals
-
Should build understanding of various departments in the business and work with them on related bugs and issues
-
Should be self-motivated to be proficient in business processes, supporting applications, identifying, and eliciting system modifications, enhancements, and strategic implementations in the business.

Must be able to work with a growing team and incorporate necessary protocols as need arises to ensure consistent software delivery

Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field
-
4 years' experience in quality/software area.

Strong command on Systems processes and technical capabilities

Ability to clearly articulate software issues and related business processes
-
Proactive personality capable of juggling competing priorities

Advanced written and verbal communication skills
-
Must understand Agile Software Development methodologies and practices
-
Must be familiar with Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospective meetings
Desired Qualitfications
-
3+ years of experience supporting critical business systems
-
2+ years on teams using Agile Process best practices
-
Experience working with multiple software developers on parallelly run projects
