AxiDraft is a growing engineering design services firm working with overseas clients in the fencing, fabrication, and mechanical design industry.
We provide technical drawing and CAD support for real-world projects and are looking for a motivated AutoCAD Design Engineer who can create accurate drawings, understand client requirements, and support project delivery.
This role is suitable for someone who wants to improve their drafting skills, work on international projects, and build a long-term career in engineering design.
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of practical experience in AutoCAD drafting
- Experience in fabrication, mechanical drafting, structural drawings, or similar industries preferred
- Experience working with manufacturing or construction-related drawings will be an advantage
Salary
₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Salary will depend on:
- AutoCAD skills
- Relevant experience

- Practical test performance
Yearly salary review based on performance, skills, responsibility, and consistency.

Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work on:
- AutoCAD 2D drafting and layout work
- Preparing technical drawings based on project requirements
- Updating and modifying existing CAD drawings
- Cleaning and organizing client-provided drawings
- Preparing fabrication and installation drawings
- Creating general arrangement drawings
- Revising drawings based on client comments and markups
- Maintaining drawing standards and templates
- Preparing drawing documentation
- Managing project files and revisions
- Coordinating with the internal team to complete drawings accurately and on time
Required Technical Skills
The candidate should have good working knowledge of:
- AutoCAD 2D drafting
- Layers, blocks, templates, and drawing standards
- Layout preparation
- Dimensioning and detailing
- Fabrication drawings
- General arrangement drawings
- Reading engineering drawings
- Drawing revisions and markups
- Sheet setup and printing standards
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
Knowledge of mechanical drawings, fencing systems, or fabrication work will be preferred.
Communication Skills
Since we work with overseas clients, the candidate should be comfortable with:
- Understanding client emails and drawing instructions in English
- Basic spoken English
- Professional communication
