Job Description – Logistics Executive
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate domestic and international logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling import-export shipments, transportation planning, dispatch operations, customs documentation, inventory coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Domestic Logistics
- Plan and coordinate daily dispatches and deliveries.
- Arrange vehicles and transporters for inward and outward movement of materials.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely deliveries to customers and warehouses.
- Coordinate with transporters and vendors for smooth logistics operations.
- Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) collection and transportation records.
- Resolve transportation delays, shortages, damages, and delivery-related issues.
Import & Export Logistics
- Handle end-to-end import and export shipment coordination.
- Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters.
- Track international shipments and coordinate customs clearance activities.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers for shipment schedules and documentation.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS reports.
- Maintain records of freight costs, shipment status, transporter performance, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
- Monitor logistics costs and suggest cost-saving initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Import & Export procedures.
- Strong in mathematics
- Experience in Domestic Logistics and Transportation Management.
- Familiarity with Freight Forwarders, CHA, Shipping Lines, and Transporters.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, SAP, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of GST, E-Way Bills, and logistics compliance.
Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Logistics & Supply Chain Management preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Hands-on experience in both domestic and international logistics.
- Strong coordination skills with transporters, CHA, freight forwarders, and warehouses.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
