JOB LOCATION - Gurgaon sector 55-56 rapid metro
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Sampling Coordinator / Senior Merchandiser with a strong background in luxury home furnishings or high-end boutique design. The ideal candidate should have 4–7 years of experience in managing and executing sampling processes, working closely with designers, and leading a large team of tailors, embroiderers, handwork artisans, and helpers (50+ team members). Knowledge of detailed handwork techniques like adda work, chikankari, zari, aari, andzar dozi is a must. The role is based in Gurgaon and requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of fabrics, finishes, and premium design standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
➢ Oversee the full sampling development process from concept to final product.
➢ Work with designers to understand sample requirements and ensure accurate execution.
➢ Lead and manage a team of 50+ workers including tailors, adda workers, hand embroiders,and finishers.
➢ Ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples with excellent finishing.
➢ Source fabrics, embellishments, and materials required for samples.
➢ Maintain strict quality standards throughout the sampling process.
➢ Supervise work involving adda, chikankari, aari, and other hand techniques.
➢ Coordinate with internal teams for production planning and timelines.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
➢ 5–7years of experience in sampling/merchandising in luxury furnishings or high-end fashion.
➢ Strong understanding of adda work, chikankari, zardozi, aari, and other fine handembroidery styles.
➢ Ability to manage and guide a large team of skilled artisans.
➢ Good knowledge of fabrics, stitching methods, and finishing techniques.
➢ Strong communication and coordination skills.
➢ Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and well-organized.
➢ Must be based in Gurgaon or willing to relocate.
