Location: Light & Life Speech & Language Therapy Clinic, Chennai
Job Summary
Light & Life Speech & Language Therapy Clinic is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will assess, counsel, and support children, adolescents, and their families, helping them achieve emotional, behavioral, social, and developmental well-being. The psychologist will work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, behavioral therapists, and special educators to provide holistic, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and behavioral evaluations.
- Develop individualized intervention and counseling plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide individual and parent counseling sessions.
- Support children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, learning, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive intervention plans.
- Guide parents and caregivers on behavior management and home-based strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports, and progress notes.
- Participate in case discussions, parent meetings, workshops, and awareness programs.
- Ensure ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional standards are maintained.
- Contribute to the overall growth and quality of services at the clinic.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant professional registration/licensure as applicable.
- Experience working with children and families is preferred.
- Freshers with strong clinical knowledge and a passion for pediatric rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
