About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to support our digital marketing team. This internship is ideal for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization, keyword research, content optimization, and website performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research using SEO tools.
- Assist in optimizing website pages for search engines.
- Support the creation and optimization of SEO-friendly content.
- Monitor website rankings, traffic, and performance using analytics tools.
- Perform on-page SEO tasks such as optimizing meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Help identify technical SEO issues and work with the team to resolve them.
- Analyze competitors and identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare SEO performance reports and present insights.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine ranking factors.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage but not mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of content marketing and link-building strategies.
