Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer / Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data modeling, analytics engineering, BI optimization, and cloud-based data platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Modeling
- Design, build, and optimize Fact/Dimension tables, star schemas, and aggregate tables in Snowflake.
- Implement Medallion Architecture (Staging → Intermediate → Marts) for scalable data solutions.
Analytics Engineering
- Develop, test, and document modular SQL transformation models using dbt (Core or Cloud).
- Implement SCD Type 2 tracking and maintain data consistency across pipelines.
Metrics & Semantic Layer
- Define and maintain standardized business KPIs within dbt.
- Ensure accurate and consistent reporting across downstream analytics platforms.
BI Optimization
- Publish and manage certified Tableau data sources.
- Optimize Snowflake query performance for dashboard extracts and live reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau.
- Expertise in Data Modeling concepts including Fact/Dimension tables and Star Schema design.
- Strong SQL and analytics engineering experience.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
- Experience in performance tuning and data optimization.
