Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Designer to prepare accurate manufacturing drawings, production layouts, and technical designs for industrial racking systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software and a good understanding of fabrication and sheet metal design.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings for production and manufacturing.
- Develop detailed fabrication drawings as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Production, and Quality teams.
- Modify designs based on customer requirements and production feasibility.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and quality requirements.
- Support the production team during fabrication and assembly.
- Maintain design records and revision history.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software is preferred.
- Understanding of fabrication drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal and structural design.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD or SolidWorks is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum: 1+ Years
Experience in the Racking Industry, Steel Fabrication, Warehouse Storage Systems, Structural Engineering, or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) industry will be preferred.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience, skills, and interview performance)
