Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Quality Assurance Tester with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete QA lifecycle for projects—from requirement analysis and test planning to automation, execution, reporting, and sign-off. This role requires a proactive individual who takes ownership, demonstrates accountability, and contributes to building a scalable QA practice.
The candidate should also possess strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to estimate testing efforts, prepare QA-related proposals, and mentor team members as the QA function grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage end-to-end QA activities across multiple projects.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test suites.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects while working closely with development teams.
- Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentation.
- Estimate testing efforts, define QA timelines, and contribute to project planning.
- Prepare technical proposals and QA scope documents for new projects.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take complete ownership and accountability for QA deliverables and project quality.
- Train, mentor, and guide future QA team members and help establish QA processes and standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Cypress automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Exposure to performance or security testing is an added advantage.
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Understanding of Docker and basic DevOps practices is a plus.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
