Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the loading and unloading of steel pipes, GI pipes, MS pipes, fittings, and other materials.
- Ensure the correct quantity, size, grade, and specifications are loaded as per the delivery challan or invoice.
- Verify material quality before loading and report any damaged or defective items.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, dispatch, and sales departments for timely dispatch.
- Assign loading work to laborers and ensure efficient material handling.
- Ensure proper stacking, packing, bundling, and securing of materials in vehicles.
- Check vehicle condition before loading and ensure it is suitable for transportation.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and ensure workers use PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, reflective jackets, etc.).
- Maintain loading registers, dispatch records, vehicle details, and gate pass records.
- Verify transport documents, including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, and LR (Lorry Receipt).
- Coordinate with transporters and drivers regarding loading schedules and dispatch timings.
- Ensure all materials are dispatched according to FIFO (First In, First Out) where applicable.
- Report shortages, excess quantities, damages, or discrepancies immediately to management.
- Monitor loading time to minimize vehicle waiting time and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading area.
- Conduct periodic stock verification with the warehouse/store team.
- Prevent material loss, theft, and unauthorized movement of goods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory safety regulations.
- Prepare daily loading and dispatch reports for management.
- Handle customer or transporter queries related to dispatched materials.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
