Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented technician with a background in Electronics to handle PCB (Printed Circuit Board) soldering, repair, and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience or strong theoretical knowledge from an Electronics diploma program and a keen eye for identifying and fixing circuit-level faults.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precision soldering and desoldering of electronic components on PCBs (SMD and through-hole)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faulty PCBs/boards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment
- Repair and rework defective components, tracks, and connections
- Conduct functional testing of repaired/assembled boards to ensure quality standards
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs, faults found, and testing results
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols while handling components
- Identify recurring fault patterns and report to seniors for process improvement
- Ensure repaired products meet company quality and safety standards
- Maintain tools, soldering stations, and testing equipment in good working condition
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering (mandatory)
- Sound knowledge of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, ICs, transistors, diodes, etc.)
- Hands-on experience or training in soldering (SMD/THT) techniques
- Basic understanding of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts
- Familiarity with testing tools like multimeter, oscilloscope, and function generator
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Steady hands and attention to detail for fine soldering work
- Freshers with strong practical training are welcome; prior internship/experience is a plus
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma holders in Electronics (fresh graduates or up to 2 years' experience)
- Candidates with lab/project experience in PCB assembly or repair during their diploma will be preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
