Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing and self-driven Senior Business Development Executive with proven expertise in IT services sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and building long-term strategic relationships. This role demands strong leadership qualities, market understanding, and the ability to independently own the end-to-end sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Strategy
- Identify, develop, and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
- Generate leads through multiple channels (LinkedIn, cold outreach, networking, referrals, events)
- Explore new markets, verticals, and global opportunities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Own the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers
- Understand client requirements and align them with IT service offerings
Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Create compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial models
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals
Strategic Thinking & Leadership
- Act as a key contributor in shaping sales strategies and go-to-market plans
- Mentor junior business development team members
- Collaborate with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams for seamless execution
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
- Provide insights to improve service offerings and positioning
Required Skills & Competencies Core Skills
- Strong understanding of IT services (Web Development, Mobile Apps, Cloud, AI, SaaS, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to close deals and drive revenue Leadership & Ownership
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work independently and lead initiatives
- Experience mentoring or guiding team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
- MBA is a plus
