About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Electron JS Developer to build and maintain a cross-platform desktop application with an embedded Chromium browser and AI-powered features. This role involves working on Electron architecture, browser functionality, AI integrations, and desktop application releases.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Electron desktop applications (Windows & macOS)
- Build and manage embedded browser features (tabs, sessions, navigation)
- Develop secure IPC between Main, Preload, and Renderer processes
- Build UI using React & TypeScript
- Integrate AI/LLM features and browser automation
- Optimize application performance and stability
- Manage application packaging, code signing, auto-updates, and releases
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on Electron.js development
- 3+ years of JavaScript/TypeScript experience
- Strong knowledge of Electron, IPC, and desktop application architecture
- Experience with React and Node.js
- Familiarity with Chromium, CDP, Puppeteer/Playwright, or browser automation
- Experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Experience with Electron Forge, Git, and GitHub Actions is a plus
