Experience: 5 Years to 8 years of experience in Mould Designing
Qualification: Advanced Diploma in Tool and Die Making (4 years)
Job Description
- Experienced in Sheet Metal Tooling Designing with knowledge of strip layout.
- Knowledge of Plastic Injection Mould Designing for Multi-cavity 3 plate moulds using different Gate types/runner layout.
- Experienced in design software like Pro-E and SolidWorks.
- Ability to design/draft a child part component or an assembled product.
- Basic knowledge of press tool manufacturing: Bridge Gap, Pitch, Strip/Stock Width (strip layout terms), processes like bending, blanking, piercing, etc.
- Engineering Drawing: First angle, Third angle, Dimensioning & Tolerance.
- Working knowledge of machining processes:
o Conventional – Lathe, Milling, Grinding, Drilling, Hexa.
o Non-Conventional – EDM, EDM Drilling, VMC/CNC, Wirecut.
- Instrument knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer.
- Knowledge of material properties under stress such as malleability, ductility, creep, elasticity.
