Site Engineer – Civil Construction
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to manage and supervise construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, safety compliance, resource management, and timely completion of projects within budget.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, subcontractors, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies
Review drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications
Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
Ensure projects are executed within approved timelines and budgets
Site Execution & Supervision
Supervise day-to-day construction activities
Ensure work quality as per engineering standards and approved drawings
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
Monitor labour productivity and material utilization
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
Resolve technical and operational site issues promptly
Monitoring & Reporting
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
Maintain site documentation and registers
Track project progress, budget, and resource utilization
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks
Required Qualifications
B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering
0–5 years of experience in construction site supervision
Strong knowledge of construction methods and site management
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD/drawing software
Good communication and leadership skills
