Job Summary
The AGM HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions of the hospital, ensuring compliance with healthcare labour laws, smooth workforce operations, and alignment with hospital policies and patient-care standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Manage recruitment for clinical and non-clinical staff (doctors, nurses, technicians, admin, support staff).
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements and approvals.
- Handle onboarding, induction, and credential verification.
2. HR Operations
- Oversee attendance, shifts, duty rosters, leave management, and payroll coordination.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and statutory documentation.
- Manage HRIS and personnel files accurately.
3. Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems for hospital staff.
- Support department heads in goal setting, reviews, and corrective actions.
- Handle probation confirmations and promotions.
4. Employee Relations
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Foster a positive and compliant work environment.
- Handle exit management, resignations, and settlements.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Coordinate mandatory hospital trainings (NABH, patient safety, infection control, POSH).
- Organize orientation and continuous skill-development programs.
6. Compliance & Statutory Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, hospital regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Manage statutory requirements: PF, ESI, gratuity, CLRA, Shops & Establishments, etc.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
7. Policy & Process Management
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies aligned with hospital standards.
- Ensure adherence to hospital SOPs and ethical practices.
- Support management in organizational development initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA / MSW in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
- Strong knowledge of hospital HR practices and labor laws.
