Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains scripting, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Azure DevOps pipeline solutions to support self-service environment provisioning.
- Implements and maintains firewall rules, access controls, and security hardening standards for testing environments.
- Ensures environments are securely isolated, monitored, and automatically removed after testing activities are completed.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Coordinate release schedules and ensure smooth deployment of updates and patches.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Networking knowledge and Security knowledge
- Scripting exp (PowerShell/Bash/Python)
- Knowledge on Linux and Windows Admin knowledge
- Exp with API Integration
- Nice to have: Ansible
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines within cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and release management processes.
- Familiarity with APIs and low-code/no-code platforms to customize and extend packaged applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and stability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- This position is based at our BDC7C - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
