Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SALES MANAGER to lead our retail sales team and drive revenue growth. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and performance management.
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to maximize store profitability.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling, and customer service standards.
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in retail sales, product knowledge, and customer engagement.
- Manage recruitment processes such as interviewing candidates, onboarding new staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory control, purchasing procedures, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Handle administrative responsibilities including payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and shift management to ensure smooth store functioning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or sales management with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer interactions.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, customer service excellence, and employee orientation techniques.
- Proficiency in retail math, merchandising, marketing strategies, and POS systems is essential.
- Experience with inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations required.
