About the Role
Eminence Technology is looking for a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in software testing, automation frameworks, and performance testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.
- Perform performance, load, and stress testing using Apache JMeter.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Ensure software quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Strong knowledge of STLC and SDLC.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Experience with Apache JMeter for performance, load, and stress testing.
- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with JIRA or other bug-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
