Job Summary
We are seeking skilled, energetic, and motivated ITI professionals to join our manufacturing facility in Peenya, Bangalore. We have open positions across our Fitting, Turning, Milling, and Plant Maintenance departments. Ideal candidates must have hands-on experience in a machine shop environment, a strong commitment to component precision, and absolute familiarity with safe shop-floor practices.
Core Departmental Responsibilities1. Fitter / Assembly Technician
- Assemble, align, and install high-precision mechanical components and machinery sub-assemblies.
- Read, interpret, and accurately execute blueprint requirements from engineering drawings.
- Perform bench operations including drilling, precision cutting, filing, tapping, and alignment checks.
- Ensure all finished mechanical assemblies adhere strictly to quality and dimensional tolerance layouts.
2. Lathe Turner
- Set up and operate conventional lathe machines to perform turning, facing, threading, and grooving operations.
- Mount workpieces securely in chucks or fixtures and set tooling parameters based on technical drawings.
- Consistently monitor machining operations and adjust feeds/speeds to achieve required surface finishes.
- Conduct routine daily machine maintenance checks and maintain workplace tidiness.
3. Milling Operator
- Set up and operate conventional milling machines to produce precise slots, grooves, and geometric profiles.
- Utilize measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy against component design parameters.
- Maximize raw material utilization while matching daily shop-floor productivity targets.
- Ensure machine cleanliness, tool lubrication levels, and coolant replacement cycles are sustained.
4. Maintenance Technician (Mechanical)
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot sudden breakdown failures of production machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical glitches, replace worn gears, bearings, or shafts, and minimize equipment downtime.
- Record and log maintenance activities, spare parts consumption, and breakdown reports.
- Strictly enforce safety protocols, lockout-tagout (LOTO) practices, and workshop hazard controls.
Required Technical Skills & Tools
- Workshop Machinery: Practical exposure running Lathe, Milling, Drilling, or Grinding equipment.
- Instruments: Proficiency reading precision instruments: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, and Height Gauges.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) marks on engineering prints.
- Safety & Maintenance: Basic understanding of 5S methodologies, preventive maintenance loops, and industrial PPE usage.
Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
