Job Title: Mould Design Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Injection Mould Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize plastic injection moulds for high-quality, cost-effective production. The role involves close collaboration with product design, tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure moulds meet performance, durability, and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design plastic injection moulds (single & multi-cavity) based on product drawings and specifications
- Prepare 2D & 3D mould designs, Rough Layout of Tool / Mould for Approval.
- Select appropriate mould concepts, gating systems, cooling layouts, and ejection mechanisms
- Preparation of Tool / Mould Drawing, Bill of Materials, Detail Drawings, CNC Wire Cutting Job slips, CNC Milling Job slips & CNC Sparking Job slips, Raw Material Specifications, Process Sheets, Powder Coating Chart.
- Coordinate with tool rooms, vendors, and manufacturing teams during mould fabrication
- Support mould trials, sampling, and troubleshooting of moulding issues
- Implement design changes based on trial feedback and production requirements
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards
- Maintain technical documentation and revision records
- Responsible to execute the compliance of QMS, EMS & involvement in OH&SMS requirements applicable in department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or related engineering discipline
- 4-5 years of experience in injection mould design.
- Strong knowledge of plastics, mould materials, and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Ability to troubleshoot moulding and tooling issues
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
