Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet-related problems.
- Configure and manage network security solutions and firewall policies.
- Perform network upgrades, patching, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for network systems.
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for issue resolution and support.
- Monitor network logs and ensure system security compliance.
- Prepare and maintain network documentation, reports, and diagrams.
- Support end users with network access and troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, or similar networking devices.
- Understanding of firewall and network security concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or Wireshark.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
