We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee the execution, production, and quality of mechanical engineering based projects at our factory. In this role, you will be responsible for daily planning, managing manpower, maintaining strict stage-wise records, and ensuring all jobs are completed on time meeting specified customer quality standards.
This roles involves working in shifts.
This is a hands-on role that requires working directly on the shop floor, and occasionally at vendor or customer sites.
- Project Planning & Execution: Study technical specifications and pre-alerts; ensure all quality formats, project grades, and process flowcharts are in place before starting work.
- Timeline Management: Develop, maintain, and execute project task lists using Gantt charts and conduct time studies for each process stage.
- Resource & Manpower Allocation: Plan daily manpower requirements one day in advance and submit machine/resource lists for senior management approval.
- Quality Assurance & Documentation: Maintain accurate in-stage production and quality inspection reports, complete Daily Work Sheets (DWS) for workers, and maintain photographic records of all processes.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Create daily status reports for the Unit Coordinator, maintain flow chart monitoring sheets, and audit weekly material requirements.
- Team Leadership: Monitor daily progress on the floor, motivate the workforce to meet deadlines, and verify reports from junior/trainee engineers.
- Audits & Inspections: Coordinate and execute customer inspections and internal audits alongside the engineering team.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
